Description of E-Comm Website Design

E-Comm Website Design, commonly known as e-commerce or eCommerce website design, consists of the buying and selling of products or services over electronic systems such as the Internet and other computer networks.

The amount of trade conducted electronically has grown extraordinarily with widespread Internet usage. The use of commerce is conducted in this way, spurring and drawing on innovations in electronic funds transfer, supply chain management, Internet marketing, online transaction processing, electronic data interchange (EDI), inventory management systems, and automated data collection systems.

Modern electronic commerce typically uses the World Wide Web at least at some point in the transaction's lifecycle, although it can encompass a wider range of technologies such as e-mail, mobile devices and telephones as well.

E-commerce as a way of doing business is now expanding in South Africa. Increasingly companies are recognising the power of the internet and the cost effective and convenient nature of selling online. Although Selling Online may seem expensive to setup - when compared with a retail outlet the costs are considerably less.

Our Approach to E-comm

Our Approach to E-comm is a phase approach.

Instead of committing to R20 000 plus the first time you request ecomm website design, we offer you the opportunity to get into the market.

We have a unique system, which maximises the time we spend, so you don't have to purchase so many design hours.

We will take you through a 4 step process when getting ecomm website design with us.

Step one - Layout Design and general content pages

Step two - Confirmation of layout and launch of website - testing - training on how to use it

Step three - Loading of the E-comm component - setting up of basic categories and example products

Step Four - Training on how to use the E-comm component, add products, remove products, change / edit prices, add images, descriptions etc.

Each step will have a progress payment - from as little as R1750.00 ex vat per payment, depending on the total value of the project, which we will confirm with you during the quotation process.

We look forward to assisting you with your e-comm website design.
