Q How long will it take for my website to be designed?
A The timeline of a website design project is dictated by the product you purchase. We formulate a due date using the Project Management System based on the complexity and size of the project. The most common delay in creating and completing a new website is waiting for content (text/images) to be sent to us by the client.
Q Do I need to provide my own content?
A Yes. You know your business better than we do. We are given a canvas to design a website according to your vision and the content that you send to us. However, we do have copywriting and image sourcing products available.
Q I paid for my website. How do we move forward from this point?
A You will be notified as soon as your funds has reflected into our account. From this stage the project manager will send you an email to notify you when the project will be activated. Alongside this, you will receive a briefing document to complete. We will need your completed briefing document within 5 calendar days before we can start the work.
On activation day the Project Manager will introduce the developer, whereby the developer will book your project to start on the first phase. A website is divided in the following phases; 1. cosmetic, 2. contextual, 3. functional, 4. review. Each phase will be systematically worked through and will require customer feedback. The site will be hosted on a preview link while being worked on. You can use this preview link to view the website as it is being designed.
Once the project is nearing the final review phase, we will issue for final balance invoice to be settled. Once this has reflected into our account, we will then proceed to publish your website.
Q Can we please have an in-person meeting?
A Absolutely! While WebsiteDesign.co.za is a digital business and we do not have physical offices, our team would be happy to attend in-person meetings either at your offices or at a public space. Contact us to request an in-person meeting and we will gladly arrange this. We charge a fee for the travel distance and time.
Q In what format should I supply my content about my business for my new website?
A We will send a briefing document to your mailbox when the project gets activated. Inside this document you will see a handful of steps to complete. You can write and submit all your content inside this document. This includes writing your website text copy, choosing fonts, colours and a beautiful theme. There’s also a step to submit your images and logo. We have provided easy to understand instructions within the briefing document to submit your content effortlessly.
Q Can you help me with my briefing document?
A Yes! If you need assistance with copywriting or image sourcing, we have excellent products available for that. Have a chat with us and we can set up a quote accordingly.
Q Will my website be SEO friendly?
A While we do not implement SEO as we design and develop new websites, we have excellent SEO products available for when your website goes live. To kickstart your web marketing campaign effectively, we recommend purchasing a marketing product immediately after your website is published.
Q I already paid for a 5 page website, but I need more pages now. What do I do?
A Not to worry! We can simply work out the cost for the additional pages that you need and offer an invoice for them.
Q Are there are hidden costs associated with web design services?
A No. Once you have purchased a product from us we will implement the scope within the product at no additional cost. During the sales phase we will set up a consult with you to understand your needs and requirements and then formulate a quotation based on this.
Extra costs may arise if you need the developer to spend more time on your website or if you’d like to have more features or pages than what was originally quoted on.

Q How do I update my website?
A There are many different methods which can be used to update websites. Below is a few options for you:
- You can contact us if you need website maintenance and we will offer a quotation.
- If you need these changes done with 24 hours you can purchase our Designer on Demand service.
- We have an excellent WordPress manual that you can download on our client zone if you’d like to make the changes yourself.

Q When I search my business on Google, it does not show in the results. Why is that?
A There are many websites on the wild wild web that competes with one another to appear on the first page and even the first position on Google. Your website may likely be on the 10th or 20th page on Google without a proper web marketing strategy (Google Ads/SEO) in place. We recommend that you contact us to start a web marketing campaign in order to achieve first positions on search engines.

A No website or web hosting service is bullet proof. This means we cannot guarantee a 100% uptime rate. However, we have reputable web hosting suppliers that have proven to be very reliable. Alongside this, websites are not built to last forever. We recommend that you rebuild your website every 3 years and perform regular updates to keep your website running smoothly.
Q Can I get corporate emails with my website package?
A Yes! If you have purchased a website with hosting, you will are able to create up to 50 mailboxes. For example, info@yourdomain.co.za or yourname@yourdomain.co.za

Q Do you provide website training?
