With your control panel you are able to:
- View the amount of visitors to your website using AWSTATS
- Create mailboxes and edit your email passwords
- Get your FTP details and upload your website
- Monitor the disk usage on the domain
- Monitor the amount of traffic on the domain
- And much, much more…
1. Accessing the Control Panel
- Go to https://secure.konsoleh.co.za
- Login in to the Control Panel:
Login: Enter your domain name (Eg. yourdomainname.co.za)
Password: Contact the hosting department for this (FTP password)
2. View Website Stats Using AWStats
- Navigate to https://secure.konsoleh.co.za
- Login in to the Control Panel:
Login: Enter your domain name (Eg. yourdomainname.co.za)
Password: (Contact the hosting dept. for the password) - Click on ‘Statistics and Reports’
- Click on ‘AWStats’.
- A new tab on your browser will open up allowing you to view the stats for your site.
3. Restoring a Backup of Your Website
- Go to https://secure.konsoleh.co.za
- Login in to the Control Panel:
Login: Enter your domain name (Eg. yourdomainname.co.za)
Password: Contact the hosting department for this (FTP password)
- Click on Manage Services button
- Click on Restore Backup link
- On the new screen, click on the Files button, in green.
- Select the date and time of the backup you wish to restore and click on Next button.
- To restore the entire website, click on "Restore all files from the web
directory"
To restore only individual files or directories, click on "Restore individual files/directories"
- Click on Restore button.
- The system will then begin the restore process for the website. Once it has completed, it will display a message on screen indicating so.
- Navigate to the website in your browser and press CTRL + F5 button, in order to load the site on-screen.
4. Run Traffic Usage Report for Your Domain
- Navigate to https://secure.konsoleh.co.za
- Login in to the Control Panel:
Login: Enter your domain name (Eg. yourdomainname.co.za)
Password: (Contact the hosting dept. for the password) - Click on ‘Statistics and Reports’
- Click on the Traffic Usage link
- Change the dates for which you want to view the report.
- Click on the View button to run the report.
- The report will display the traffic for each day between the date range you have chosen. The traffic will be listed under these categories as below:
- WWW - traffic to your website
- POP3 - incoming email to your domain
- IMAP - outgoing email from your domain
- SMTP - outgoing email from your domain
- FTP - files updated to the web directory of your website
- TOTAL - the total traffic for the day concerned
5. How to Find Disk Usage on Your Domain
- Go to https://secure.konsoleh.co.za
- Login in to the Control Panel:
Login: Enter your domain name (Eg. yourdomainname.co.za)
Password: Contact the hosting department for this (FTP password)
- Click on ‘Statistics and Reports’.
- Click on ‘Disk Usage’.
- The disk quota for your package is indicated in the ‘Quota’ field, in MB.
Click on the ‘ View the Long-listing’ link.
- To see the disk usage for the website files, click on the + icon next to the ‘public_html’ folder to expand the folder list and get the disk size for each folder.
To see the disk usage for each mailbox on the domain, click on the + icon next to the ‘users’ folder to expand the mailbox list and get the disk size for each mailbox.
